Enclosure Services Test
StompBoxParts is looking for beta testers for custom drilling and powder coating!
These will be done in-house with our friends at Cusack Manufacturing in Holland, Michigan, USA.
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW TO QUALIFY FOR BETA TESTING:
-USA customers only at this time.
-125B Pro only at this time!
-You must use our drilling template. You can edit this using Adobe Illustrator. If you can't use our template and don't have Illustrator you are unable to participate in the beta test at this time!
-Minimum order quantity is 25 identical enclosures. We hope to reduce that quantity in the future.
-We are only offering powder coating in the colors we currently have available on the website. Click here for currently available colors.
-Lead time is 2-3 weeks for drilling. Powder coating will be another 1-4 weeks if you'd like that too. Sorry about the broad range, we need to practice this process to shorten lead times.
-As a beta test incentive, we are offering one free fully drilled sample prior to running your batch (after payment for full batch).
-To give a rough estimate, two-face drilling will cost roughly $6ea (plus the cost of the enclosure). Estimates will very a little bit per project depending on needs and requirements.
-Full payment is required prior to beginning work.
-We are not offering UV printing at this time. We hope to offer this in the future.
-If you are looking to order more than 50 enclosures, Cusack Manufacturing can offer additional services such as UV Printing, custom powder colors, and other manufacturing services. We do these processes all day, everday, but we are typically tooled up for batches exceeding 100pcs, so we are looking to refine our processes for smaller batches.
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
1. Download the Illustrator template for our 125B Pro. Click here for template.
2. Using Illustrator, design the enclosure drilling based on the enclosure model and the pre-made hole diameters. All five enclosures faces are zero'd to the middle. Save your Illustrator design file using this format:
last name or company-project name.ai
Example: cusackmusic-resound.ai
3. Contact Us! Please include 1)your name and company (if applicable), 2)the name of the project, 3)quantity, and 4)powder coat color or bare. We will coordinate file submission, quote, payment, and other details with you. Full payment will be required prior to proceeding.
4. As a beta test incentive, we are offering one free drill sample prior to running your batch (bare, no powder). If you found you made an error in your drawing, each revision will incur $50 fee (to cover another enclosure, reprogramming the CNC, labor, shipping, etc). AKA if you can nail the drill template the first time, we are covering all the expenses including the parts, fees, labor, shipping!
5. After sample approval, patiently wait 1 to 7 weeks for us to complete your order. When it is ready to ship, you will receive a tracking number and it will be on the way. We will periodically update you along the way if there is a major status update (drilling complete, powder complete, shipping, etc). We don't want to keep you waiting any longer than necessary, when the order is complete we will ship it out same or next day.
